Together with partners from industry and academia the Institute for MicroSensors, -Actuators and –Systems of the University of Bremen (IMSAS) thus aims at tackling multidisciplinary challenges and pursuing innovative ideas in the field of “Lab on a Chip” within the frame of a ZIM network.
The network focuses on innovative products, production processes and services primarily in the fields of
- Point-of-care diagnostics systems / Biomarker development,
- Replacement of animal experiments by „organ-on-a-chip“ approaches
- Cell analysis / microbiology,
- Chip manufacturing.
